NOTE: The Mac Pro supports up to 64GB of 1866MHz DDR3 PC3-14900 ECC memory using a four-channel memory controller. The Mac Pro uses unregistered DIMMs (U-DIMMs) when using 4GB or 8GB DIMMs. When using 16GB DIMMs they must be registered DIMMs (R-DIMMs).
Registered DIMMs cannot be mixed with unregistered DIMMs.
